Nick Gretina Music Festival 9/15/07: Post Mortem

This was a show full of apologies, but it was a good show nonetheless. From us apologizing to our fans for going on stage three hours late (not our fault), to us apologizing for our singer who put his foot in his mouth (our fault), this show somehow still kicked ass.

Many hot dogs and burgers were eaten. The weather was perfect until the sun went down. The PA system left a lot to be desired, but we made the best out of it that we could. We decided we would never play without Pete, our sound-man, ever again. Musically, we sounded better than ever. We rocked. Thanks to those of you who stuck around! We’ll see you back at Foley’s.

Foley’s 7/21/07: Post Mortem

Jake has agreed to reimburse the cost of reconstruction and/or cosmetic surgery needed from having your face melted off at last night’s show. If you were in close proximity to the band during their encore performance of Loverboy’s “Working For The Weekend” and your face was exposed to the extreme heat during the dueling guitar solos, apply for a voucher here.

Thank you all for coming, drinking, tipping the bartenders, rocking out with your you-know-what out, spilling your drinks, vomiting and making it home safely. Jake called the Mountain Men from rehab this morning to let you know that he loves you all, and to warn you that the hangover pill does not actually work. Oh, and Ms. Lohan says hi.

The Central Park show was absolutely amazing. We’re still riding the natural high and it is all thanks to the people who showed up; some old-time fans, some brand-new fans, some people who were simply enjoying the most perfect weather mother nature could possibly provide.

Next to conquer: Foley’s, July 21st. This time it’s personal.
